Nicki Minaj is a US based rapper, R & B singer, songwriter and actress. Pretty singers regularly adorn the videos and stage shows of famous US rappers. Nicki Minaj is one of the few who has stepped out of the shadow of male colleagues. With her hit singles like "Your Love", "Super Bass" and "Starships", the singer conquered the worldwide charts with her changing colorful hairstyles and costumes. And from her distinctive appearance, there was even a limited Barbie doll.
In 2004 she started to work as a background singer for rapper and RundB singer. With some mix tapes and her MySpace page, she fell to the rap star Lil Wayne, who offered her a contract on his record label.
In December 2009, Nicki Minaj's first album, "We Are Young Money", was released. Her first single, "Massive Attack," starring Sean Garrett, climbed to # 22 on the US charts in March 2010. In addition, the singer was a guest on songs by Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Usher, Sean Kingston and Jeffree Starr, which earned her additional fame.

On her 2011 Femme Fatale Tour, Britney Spears appeared in the opening act. For her short but intense career, Nicki Minaj has received several awards including the American Music Award, the MTV Video Music Award and three Grammy nominations. Her private life keeps the rapper secret, even though she often hints at bisexual love in her lyrics.
