Kevin Darnell Hart
Kevin Darnell Hart is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer. Kevin Hart is a salesman at a shoe store when he debuts on the boards at the Philadelphia comedy club. Wanting to be fully involved in his passion, he resigns and plays full time in several theaters, such as The Boston Comedy Club, Carolina's, Stand-Up NY, The Laugh Factory and The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. He continues his sold-out tour and it is during his first stage appearance at the "Just for Laughs Montreal Festival" that he is considering a film career.
Once this decision is made, Hart skyrockets and makes appearances in several American comedies (Scary Movie 3, Polly and I, 40, still virgin, Scary Movie 4, The Love of Gold, Panic at Funerals, Mon father-in-law and us, etc.). These successions of appearances in the cinema do not deprive him of continuing to make his audience laugh on stage.
2011 is the year of records for him: with "Hart's Laugh At My Pain” comedy tour, the success is such that it is at the top of the ranking of the number of tickets sold on Ticketmaster. Also in 2011, in the space of two evenings, he broke the record set by Eddie Murphy of the number of entries to the Nokia Theater. From success to success, it was during the summer of 2012 that he began the international tour of "Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain", which he played in more than 100 American cities, then in European and African cities.
Kevin Hart is also active on the small screen, whether in series (The Big House where he was also the executive producer and the screenwriter, Babershop, Party Down, Kröd Mändoon and The Flaming Sword of Fire, and Modern Family), or as Guest on BET Comic's classic comic series stand-up comic series: One Mic Stand, Live with Kelly, The Wendy Williams Show, OWN's The Rosie Show, The Steve Harvey's Morning Show, Sirius' The Foxxhole and others.
With time, the actor acquires more and more important roles in the cinema: by finding for example, Robert De Niro in Match Back (2014). It is also propelled by director Tim Story - with whom he has already collaborated on the lucrative Think Like a Man - for the buddy movie "Put to the test" which is also a big hit at the box office. His renowned talent and rising fame earned him a leading role in the romantic comedy About Last Night.
